Hi all,
I have a Euphorbia bicompacta (Green African Milk Bush) plant that is going through some issues, up until now it has been a pretty happy plant and growing super well. i went away on a trip and left someone else to take care of it under my instructions but after i came back it seems that because of excess of humidity or lack of ventilation of the room or/and other reasons a problem with spider mites developed, it seems it's a mild one so far (i don't see a lot of them) so i tackled it with a neem oil and soap solution, it appears to go ok (there's less and less of them visibly) yet the plant leaves are starting to get more and more yellow and and also a lot of leaves a falling and getting wrinkled. So i thought it also could be over watering, meaning a problem not related to the spider mites, but i don't think it is since the plant has been watered at most once a week and not abundantly. So wonder if you can advise on steps to take to figure out what the issue is? Should I get into the soil and see if the roots are ok/not damaged? also is there any other damage that can be caused by spraying the plant with the neem and soap solution?

tnx! Sad

Have you used Neem and soap solution before? I think you burned the leaves.

No, I haven't, I just made one of a tea spoon of neem and 1/4 of dish soap and sprayed a bit for 4 days. I just got clean paper and cotton and tried gently wiping all teh leaves, not sure if that can help? What can i do?

I didn't know what to do about the spider mites so I just followed instructions from the plant shop owner and everyone said that the neem will take care of the mites but noone said that there can be some problems.

Just after one day it looks way worse Sad I only used this neem mix for 4 days and it seems to me it's very drastic to have done such damage since i also used it on other plants and they are doing fine, not sure if this plant is way more sensitive to it or not, so wonder if anyone has had experience with it in particular or just in general with neem spraying. also wonder if it could be something else as well? i wiped again today all the leaves with damped paper towel and dry ones and also sprayed the leaves with clean water afterwords, but it seems most leaves are now it really bad condition. hope someone can help and suggest options to save this plant, thanks!

I'm thinking it's still recovering from probably too little water while you were gone.

Aphids certainly didn't help, but I've had good luck with neem if it's mixed right.

You said " I just made one of a tea spoon of neem and 1/4 of dish soap"

1/4 of what?
Tea spoon?
