Hi I'm new to poppy growing. I rember my granny grew all kinds of poppy. The one I was most liked as kid was one that had large pod with little pods around it. My mom told me the other day they was call chics an hens ? If anyone has some seeds I'd gladly pay for some an maybe some advice on growing them . Thank you.
Ohh and I'm located in south east Tennessee. Just saying for mailing purpose Thank You!

I would be glad to send you some seeds I saved last year for some poppies. I bought the original seeds from Baker Creek seeds a few years back. They were called "Amazing Grey Poppy" This must not have been a stable heirloom variety as each year the colors are all over the place. Everything from greyish to purple to pink to red. Here is a picture:
