I potted up this Monstera adansonii rooted cutting in Oct. There has been no new growth in 6 months and the leaves are yellow and brown. I don't believe that it has been overwatered. I decided to inspect the roots only to discover that there are tons! What should I do with it now? I had it in a 5" pot which may have been too big. What size pot should it be in? Should I trim the roots?

To my old eyes, it looks like your Swiss Cheese Philodendron (Monstera adansonii) has been under watered. Those roots look extremely dry.

Repot it and wait. Its just now spring. Things slow down and many aroids go semi-dormant in the winter. Pulling it up like that and removing all the soil off the roots will probably set it back even more now

Agreed.

Slow growth might've been due to the winter season but there should've been at least some.

I'd pot it back up, give it a good soak, and keep the soil reasonably moist, reduce the light for the time being.

They're strong plants but whatever was going on hasn't been good to the plant.

Yep. Still hopeful though.

Is it getting sunburned?

I don't think it's sunburnt because I keep it in a medium bright but indirect light. I repotted it and will wait to see what happens over the next few weeks. Thanks.

Happy to suggest. I hope it perks up! : ) I mostly meant while the pic was taken. Inside leaves can burn so quickly if taken out into the sun.
