No, it was someone else. A very strange a cryptic (and ugly) message. I think the person made a mistake posting here, thinking they were posting elsewhere? I don't really know.

I think we're a bit late welcoming Poolshark, that was a March post from 2013! Oh well, welcome anyway nodding Better late then never I guess.

This thread makes me see how many members are no longer commenting on threads in the iris forum. Even since spring of this year. Hope they come back with the blooms!

I think, by and large, most folks are 'seasonal' with their postings...iris in the spring, daylilies in the summer, etc.....then there are the "select few" who can't seem to get enough of their 'favorite flower" Sticking tongue out .

Well, I'll take MY share of the blame !! Besides, I'm pretty much a "one trick pony"....spring bulbs, daylilies ,lilies, mums, roses, and the rest are ALL nice flowers, and, if a person is into all year color, or "garden design", they are important parts of the picture........but, for me (NOT for Rita, though,as she 'grows 'em all!)iris are "where it's at ! The grain farmers here a bouts have a saying, 'corn, beans, and Miami".....for me it's "spring bloomers, fall bloomers, and Alabama " Sticking tongue out

I grow a lot of the 'other' flowers and they are lovely but do not have the magic or irises.
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?

That makes sense then Arlyn, you're a sun bird. But don't you worry about all your babies at home while you are gone? Hee.

Not too much , last winter there was plenty of snow cover.....and they slept peacefully till spring! Of course, this winter MAY not be as "snowy", and , if there is no cover,..."heaving" might be a concern, on some of the late planted ones. Still, they are usually hardy enough that even if they push clear out of the ground, they will survive.
