I know I want to support it and train it upwards.
Vacillating between a mossy vine stick 8 stick teepee ( square pot ) for it to support itself with its vines, or a solid kenaf sheet rolled tight, tied off and kept moist as a central support for it to pull itself up after my wrapping it around.

With something like a tomato cage, you can guide them back down, around, over & over, creating a solid column of foliage for years before it gets out of hand and you cut it into pieces and start over. ...Or you can do the around-the-room thing on a wall... Some roots will stick to the wall and ruin the paint, or make deeper damages into the actual wall.
