How do I trim/prune hellebores after they bloom? Is there any thing they need?

I just leave the blooms on

If you don't want them to go to seed, leave them on. Or to tidy up the plants remove. Also watch for white flies, you will need to spray for that.

I understand the fancier hybrids to be sterile? I didn't think mine would have viable seed? Do white flies like hellebores for some reason? I don't think I usually have trouble with those on things but I will keep an eye out.

Any of the fancy doubles that we can keep alive down here, produce seedlings just fine.
Unfortunately, there's a virus (Helleborus net necrosis virus) that takes a heavy toll... cutting back the stems makes it so much worse...
