Leaves are a bit too pointy and acute. In my opinion.

I would agree, but I can't suggest any better ID. The leaves of morganianum should be more flat than round, with different spacing along the stem. Maybe we should move this image to the genus entry for Sedum? Though honestly xSedeveria is a distinct possibility, too.

I agree, this appears to be Sedeveria Harry Butterfield to me. Super Burro's Tail (XSedeveria 'Harry Butterfield')

Y'all would know better than I would but I'm not seeing the difference compared to the other morganianum pics. I've had this for about 14 yrs but have never seen a bloom. It has shrunk instead of growing.

Other pics to help decide:

This is when I first got it. I offered $1 for it, neglected in a corner of a dying owner-operated greenhouse, and the offer was accepted.

None of my attempts to propagate have worked, and this is all that is left at the base of this tiny tree:

Yes this is Harry Butter. The porportion of leaf length to rosette is too high to be morganum. I also find this to be much more compact, and less "drroopy" than morganianum.1$? That's a steal! Such good deal, and nice hanging pot too.

Have you tried leaf propagation?

Some background about Harry Butterfield ...

Super Burro's Tail (XSedeveria 'Harry Butterfield')

This plant is a Dick Wright hybrid of Sedum morganianum (with E. derenbergii) also marketed as 'Super Burro's Tail' (though I'm not sure what's super compared to the original honestly, and not just different). To the extent it is a hybrid of morganianum it is quite similar. There are some useful, properly identified pictures here showing two forms and a range of flowers.

https://www.crassulaceae.ch/de...

The flowers may be virtually indistinguishable from morganianum (to my eyes anyway) when they are not flared wide open, and I don't think the plant flowers a whole lot anyway. But based on the leaves, I would say Tiffany's plant is a match, and I will endeavor to move that set of images to the Butterfield entry, starting shortly.

That said, I would appreciate you all taking a look at the images we have for Harry Butterfield and highlighting the ones which are clearly not that cultivar. I'm seeing 3 right now but maybe if you don't mind, we could try to clean up that entry as well, while we're at it.

Thank You!

This is what Harry butterfield generally should look like:

Like a giant, long-leaved, compact, more stiff morganium.

I'm so confused. I did propagate but they didn't live long after this pic.
