This photo appears to be incorrect. It is a lovely Primula, but does not have the correct type of leaves. The blooms should also be held just above a mound of leaves. https://www.barnhaven.com/prim...

Yes, Lynn, you're right. This isn't a P. allionii. The photo caption says it's a hybrid of P. allionii and P. pubescens (now P. latifolia subsp. latifolia), but it doesn't look like a possible hybrid of those two species either.

Thank you Zuzu. I just got P. allionii 'Pink Ice' from Dancing Oaks Nursery, the leaves are very different from most primula I see at the local nurseries.
