Just received the first ever order of salvias from Flowers By The Sea. The plants are beautiful, and S. microphylla Flower Child even has buds on it, what a nice surprise. We will wait a week to harden them off before they go into the ground, but it will be tough. We just want to run out and plant them right now. Well, another week and weather permitting, that's what we will be doing. Thank goodness they didn't arrive yesterday, it was so cold and windy, a winter day instead of spring. Today is beautiful, with the temp around 70 on the south side of the house. Spring fever is definitely setting in. Big Grin

I think I may have had a case of "salvia fever" when I said S. microphylla Flower Child had buds. Now I think they are new leaves developing, but I am a newbie at this so please excuse my mistakes. I am doing as much reading on the subject as I can trying to educate myself on the world of salvias. I do believe I am going to love having these plants.
