Definitely important to consume more than 1 source of info, and I think it's even more important to ID a plant first if you're going to release an article into the public.

Drymaria and Hydrocotyle umbellata have very little in common as far as appearance goes. One quick generic image search for "dollarweed" or Hydrocotyle would have been enough to realize the error. ...if he thinks Drymaria is such a formidable weed, I hope he doesn't actually get dollarweed.

The corrective comment at the end says Dichondra. One of the pics may show Dichondra but most of them are Drymaria. Neither Hydrocotyle or Dichondra have "velcro" qualities like Drymaria does. All 3 are in my yard. I don't want to create an account to add a comment.

I saw the dichondra pic...
The rest of the pics... Didn't recognize.

Also didn't see any botanical names in the article.

I know that dichondra is supposed to be edible...
Apparently drymaria is supposed to be edible as well.... they even call it "tropical chickweed".

Incidentally, I'm curious how you find the blog articles that you read...

I used to regularly read a number of blogs, but... have kind of gotten out of the habit... Not having internet... and having had computers die, losing passwords, links, & so forth.

I don't read blogs. I found that in a search.
