What a great idea! planting annuals around the minis. When the heat takes the Hosta down you still got something in the pot through fall.. When I lived in Florida I collected Coleus plants like I do Hostas now..The first freeze in Texas took them all down!. I am really a foliage person. :)

I dont do co-ops.I just have no patience for small plants to mature.
GF is digging out all the perennials in her landscape.Just bought the house a year ago.
She hates flowers.

Just so you will know .... Our plants are Bare Roots which is a mature plants.
