Hi fellow plant lovers!
I bought this hibiscus plant in the dead and dying zone of the garden center at Walmart and all it said was hibiscus. I'm so glad I bought it, but when I did it looked like the hibiscus version of the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. Well, it has a happy spot in my front South facing area and took off like a Jack in the beanstalk and I love it. The flower is so different from my other hibiscuses. But, I don't know what it's proper name is. Can anyone help me?
It is sold by some seller as 'El Capitolio' Hibiscus.
But I got this "semi double" type Hibiscus named as "Flaminggo hibiscus" the series came in red, salmon and yellow form.
bought it from nihonkaki.com in Japan
