Yes. my husband made one for me. It's just a wood frame that fits the doorway with screening on it. I do use it sometimes but a real screen door would be better.

I never thought about critters getting in. Am thinking about trying one of those magnetic hands free screens and see how that works. They are only about $20 bucks. Will let you know how it works out.

The only real problem I have with my GH and critters, with an open-door policy, is the bees and butterflies that get trapped inside; I do have screen doors on my GH, but the magnetic screens would work just as well, I think.

I have two Dutch Doors at either end. I keep the bottoms closed and the tops open which keeps out ground critters. I bought some nylon screening and cut pieces to fit both top openings and attached either end to 1 x 2 pieces of wood. I screwed one end in above the doors, and I can roll up the screen on the other board and just place it on the ledge above the door when not in use, or I am going in and out. That keeps out bigger flying creatures. I have an automatic roof vent that opens enough on its own to let bees in and out.
