Yes, (as least some) Violets do it too, but I don't bring those inside, then jump when they pop open a day or so later...

Ruellia seeds have made me jump too! I had one for a few yrs in OH and it lived in my kitchen over winter.
My fav for this is Impatiens. I don't think they make any noise though.
