I finally got a decent amount of Krishna Tulsi seeds back in February. I've always grown Rama tulsi. So, I heavily planted three large planters in the Krishna tulsi seeds. As of today, the seedlings run from 4-12 inches tall...but there is not a trace of red or purple in the plants from seeds labelled as Krishna tulsi. Has anyone grown this? Shouldn't I be seeing the colors by now?

Always looking for interesting plants for pollinators and food! Bonus points for highly, and pleasantly scented plants.

The colors may not show as much as you expect, or until older, or in different ways, like only flowers, or only some of the leaves...is it in full sun, or afternoon shade? It may need more shade this year to allow the color to show.
So many roads to take, choices to make, and laughs to share!

I suspect I was sent the wrong seeds. The company replaced them late in season so I'll try them this spring.
