I have another one. It looks really different this year. It was divided not too long ago and I grabbed a pot of it so we shall see if on rebloom it looks more like last year or not.

Thank you Mona, he is doing much better. He went with me yesterday to Tom Burseen's house, whose garden is on tour with the National Iris Society this year. We only stayed about an hour, it was hot and we got tired quickly. I posted a few pictures on the iris forum. Sorry this is off topic.

I should have some more daylilies blooming soon. I was sooooo disappointed to lose buds to a late frost on Waves of Joy and Dragonfly Dawn.

WEll, that would have just hurt my heart to lose those buds. Ugh!!! I sure hope they both put up new scapes, soon. I'm glad I don't even have scapes up but i'm concerned that mine are going to blloom so late that it'll be too hot to get crosses to set. Mother nature is just being nasty this year.

I lost alot of buds as well, alot that have aborted. More this year than every other year put together. Its just a total bummer. Its especially hard when they are on seedlings. You hate it on registered ones too, but at least you know what those look like. To wait a whole nother year to see what the seedling looks like. Very hard to handle.
