Does anyone know of a source for this hosta? I seen it at a local display garden a few years back and they have since closed, (they never sold it of course, just a garden display) and I cannot find it anywhere.
A few years ago I read that Walter's Gardens had so many duds in their tc plants that they were going to discontinue trying to grow them. They have the patent on that plant, so may not see it on the market again?

I read something like that too, apparently it was a Proven Winners Shadowland variety at one point, but the tissue cultures were not succesful so they no longer sell it. But I thought there may be smaller mom and pop nurseries that would still sell it, as a division from their own stock? I just don't know. All I know is I need one I may have to give up on my dream
I have a friend that owns a nursery near Fort Madison, Iowa. She has a beautiful one, but doesn't want to split it until next spring. I left her a message asking if she would sell and ship to you next spring. How far are you from the Iowa border? She's about a half hour north of the border.
Oops! Forgot to add a picture of her plant!

I guess I was lucky being able to order one this past Winter from Mason Hollow.
Land of Giant says in stock, but at a price 75 dollars. And I think they are only taking a few orders for plants this year on Facebook.
I saw this on a Facebook group today. If you're interested you'll have to join the group before bidding. Their plants are really nice. If you're patient enough to wait until spring to order from Gail, I'm sure her plants will be very nice and more affordable.
