Because I had never experienced the misty rains that we have here until being in Santa Cruz CA and then here! Its light and amazing! Lovey dubby

I love Seattle.
And San Francisco.

Pittsburgh is also very very good, but when I win the lottery, I'll go out West again!

Critter both cities remind me of one another - I mean there's no comparing SF (but its more expensive to live there) Seattle has always felt like a "sleepy" city, and I appreciate that. Even though there is so much art, music, poetry etc. The next city that is up and coming is Portland OR, It always felt too small to me, but now it feels about right!! And is very creative and has bike paths everywhere!! So Zuzu could have carried her microwave on her bike! Rolling on the floor laughing (oops wrong thread!) I have heard good things about Portland.
Seattle was much smaller when I first went there - 1982.
SF fit me the best.
The whole world all gathered in one small place.
