Because I had never experienced the misty rains that we have here until being in Santa Cruz CA and then here! Its light and amazing! Lovey dubby

Greg, Ive been to Hawaii and it was very misty all day because of the volcanos there. I would love to go drive down the Cali cost some day....Ive always wanted to do that myself. One day one day!

Critter both cities remind me of one another - I mean there's no comparing SF (but its more expensive to live there) Seattle has always felt like a "sleepy" city, and I appreciate that. Even though there is so much art, music, poetry etc. The next city that is up and coming is Portland OR, It always felt too small to me, but now it feels about right!! And is very creative and has bike paths everywhere!! So Zuzu could have carried her microwave on her bike! Rolling on the floor laughing (oops wrong thread!) HAHAHA......as Lynn had mentioned that would have been a sight to see. Glad she got some help with the micro.... I shall add Portland to me list as well. We have a portland, MI about 30 mins from me as well which is one of my well known fishing spots Thumbs up

I have heard good things about Portland.
Seattle was much smaller when I first went there - 1982.
SF fit me the best.
The whole world all gathered in one small place.
