UrbanWild said: Glue traps are famous about killing non-target species. I've seen dead wrens, lizards and shrews in mouse and rat glue traps. I've seen a hummingbird in a small sticky trap for flies. Now there are recommendations for using sticky traps for spotted lantern flies. There is a danger to these glue traps as well however...

A red-bellied woodpecker is a large, strong bird. Think of what happens to smaller birds.
In short, there is nothing that would ever allow me to use sticky traps. Not only are they indiscriminate killers, starving and dehydration are horrible ways to die and as such, these traps are inhumane. We're facing some tough pests. But the answer can't be to make it harsh for a variety of species in multiple trophic levels.
