For what it's worth, this is the difference between the two varieties of truncata:
H. truncata v. truncata - distichous rosettes with flattened leaves in two rows
H. truncata v. maughanii - non-distichous (multifarious) rosettes with rounded leaves
The plant in the picture clearly has a distichous rosette, so it cannot be maughanii. It has to be the type variety of truncata.
Of course you are totally entitled to choose where the image ends up in the database, and if you prefer the genus entry, that's your call. This just to explain the situation, and the difference between these varieties. A distichous plant cannot be maughanii, which looks like this:
If nothing else, this information should resolve any residual uncertainty you might have about the scientific name of the plant in the original picture, whether or not a particular cultivar name applies.
