Picked this up recently. Seller says it's the above genus . Others have said it's dyckia . The leaves are very stiff with no play . Anyone here have a view? Thanks in advance

Steve, I believe it to be a Deuterochnia Bromeliad as the tag states. They do resemble the Dyckia type of Bromeliads.
Your plant maybe Deuterochnia meziana.
