My first thought was, what a beautiful jeweled brooch that would make. I wouldn't doubt it that jewelry designers are frequently inspired by flowers. Your banner can be considered a "gem". Love it.

Great choice of adjective, 'exotic', to describe the center of this bloom. Ditto @Fleur569's impulse to use such blooms for inspirations for adornments and decorations.
