Hi Everyone- brand new to this group- and very excited to chat about houseplants:-)

I have a dragon tree- grown from a dish garden for about 15 years. I really have done nothing to it other than good environment, water, eventual repotting as needed, etc. It has grown well, but is now lanky, and just not visually what I am hoping. I have wondered the best way to shorten plant and make somewhat more full. It stands in a corner with a decent amount of room. It is sentimental to me, so am hoping for advice on best way to shorten, create new legs, or just have some advice on options for it at this time.

Thanks,
Erika

Hi & welcome! Your plant is normal for a specimen of that age. You could trim it, or you could add other plants at the base, like in this pic:
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The 2nd best time is now. (-Unknown)
