It depends on what pH your garden soil is and what you are growing or intend to grow.
If you want to incorporate this product into your ground soil you'll need to test it first to see if the addition of acidic media might cause problems for your existing plants. Distributed sparsely and worked in, it probably won't make much difference, especially if your soil runs alkaline. Many vegetable crops prefer slightly acidic growing conditions, so that could be a place for it. I'm not a fan of using potting soil in the ground because of its sterile nature, but if your soil is clay or compacted (and alkaline), it could make it more easily workable.
How about developing a new interest in potted azaleas?
