Hello - my beautiful dwarf alberta spruce tree was doing great until a random landscaper "trimmed" it with a chainsaw and now it is turning brown near the top. Please tell me what I can do to save this beautiful tree 😞 Thank you so much

Tell your landscaper to stay away from Albert. It won't die but it won't be pretty for awhile. I think I see little green tips in the brown areas. The green is only on the outer edge of the plant - there's nothing in the middle but brown stuff - because the needles won't stay green unless they are exposed to sun. The landscaper cut into the brown stuff or the sudden sun burned it (I think the former).

Neem oil is interesting stuff. If its too hot, too humid, to wet, too sunny... your plant will burn. I'm not sure how people find a time to use it.

Spider mites just spray with water nozzle dial on narrow . It usually takes a few times a day at first but very safe and effective. I get them in hot summers in mine have 5.
These are several years old and they have survived many spider mite attacks over the years by just hard sprays of water .
