Thread OP
Michigan (Zone 5b)
I managed to get bunch of japanese maple seedling, naturally most were uninteresting (seedlings were from 20ft red leafed type) the only green leafed one shows some interesting pattern, I was just wondering if it is worth keeping, of just use as grafting stock with the rest?

Leaves are just green with maroon, the pic shows some green a little more yellow that in person. Its really just a light green.

Pic of other seedlings for reference.

Looks kinda fun. Let it grow and see if it stays the same. If worse comes to worst, you've got a nice rootstock.
