Me and my wife have plans to soon make a outside garden that will get 7-8 hours of direct sun. The garden we plan on making is going to be about 20ft x 4ft (maby 5ft)
Any suggestions on what arrangement of plants would be ideal?
We are not into alot of flowery plants more into leafy type plants with maby a flower

we'd love to suggest. Can you add a picture of the area? Is it full sun with a wall or house behind it, or away from structures?

Suggest checking some of the variegated canna and ginger...
Also... lantana, ice plant... how about agave?

Are you interested in plants that produce people food?
Attract birds?

What about shrubs? Like wax myrtle and yaupon holly...

A lot of stuff will grow there... we just need better information on what you like.

It is a new build community so it has a layer of dirt and sand below

Or... Far better... maybe replace that turf with something less labor intensive?
