Will try to get a better angle tomorrow, 4" pot from about 8 months ago, teased it into this contraption about 2 months ago.

Not like it needed the up-potting, but it damn sure got one!

And the mossy stick tetrahedron (had to look it up) is working great.
Glad I stuck with 4 uprights instead of 3.

Can redirect new vine growth as needed, tie off with twine to give them a few weeks to figure stuff out, but once they're moving you can just weave them around every week or two.

That's nice! Are the sticks something sold in your store for critter tanks?
Plant it and they will come.

Yes, Galapagos Mossy Sticks.

They come in 3 lengths and I've been really happy with them.

That's OK, I'm sure if I went to our huge Tropicals store they would sell me whichever they have. But thanks!
Plant it and they will come.

They're all pretty similar.
Wanted to correct the post in case anyone was looking for them online, since Zoo Med doesn't make them yet.

Haven't had to yet but I don't see why not.

I don't think we list them online yet but let me know if you have trouble finding them at a decent price and I can try to expedite getting them available.

Yes. For better or worse we carry poison dart frogs, chameleons, snakes, newts, etc...

These things look great in bio-active tanks, give the critters more usable room, and help maintain humidity. The plants love them. You can use the longer ones as bird perches depending (fine for canaries and finches but hookbills from parakeet and parrotlet up would love them to death).

As soon as they came out I saw plant cages and brought them in.

Your plant interest is a great spin off to your store's 'main' purpose.
No, I don't need them right now, just storing the idea in my memory bank.
Plant it and they will come.

Thanks!

It works. We sell critters out of planted tanks that always need trimming, so there's a steady stream of cuttings.

And I've settled on a handful of plants I can cut and root and sell steadily off many lighted shelves. And behind the one south-facing window in our entire business, a new stockroom we took over a few months ago. Stashed 7 6" pothos there last month.

We buy our lighting wholesale at a great price, most of the cuttings are free, and I get a great price on pots and soil from my friend's local garden supply shop!
