Three mo. old lemon plant leaf has yellow spots. Plant is watered every day. Homeade plant food of Epsom salt, ammonia & baking soda in very small amts w/ water given every couple of weeks. Hydrogen peroxide in small amounts with water given every couple of weeks as well. Plant gets east & west sun every day. Thank you.

Welcome! Is there any way you could post a pic of your plant? Close ups of the leaves would be helpful. I would stop fertilizing with the homemade fertilizer, as well as the hydrogen peroxide, which is doing nothing good for the plant.

That does look like some kind of chemical damage. I have a 6 foot lime tree, and I only fertilize it once a year. Citrus doesn't require a lot of fertilizer, specially when it's in a pot.,the damaged leaves will eventually turn yellow and fall off, then be replaced by new leaves.

Definitely ditch the homemade fertilizer. Purchase citrus fertilizer and use it exactly as directed.

That is insect damage, looks like Citrus leafminer.

Thank you. The leaf already fell off & the other leaves (only 4) look good. I will not be using the homeade fertilizer any more as you advised. Thank you for your expert advice & you were on the money! Best from Long Beach, NY. Jon Roth
