Its growth habit is more like Indian Fire Sticks. Euphorbia like, grows in free draining, waterless, rocky kind of environment. Likes the cold and you wont find it further South or North. Just this belt. Known as Creen in the local dialect grows with Pataki (Gymnosporia royleana Wallich ex M. A. Lawson, Fl. Brit. India).

See if your knowledge of botanical language can isolate it plus time for me to check see all the Euphorbias listed by Tropicos in Pakistan.

Arif.

It seems just about every plant you have has medicinal value! A very interesting shrub.

This area is rich in medicinal herbs which are being denuded and smuggled out of the country. Some have gone extinct.
Janet looked up the complete list of Euphorbias today. All reports are from 1800's. It seems that after 1800 either Botany went extinct or botanists have conked off. I know it is not true but where is the new data with photographs instead of charcoal line drawings?

Arif.

The information used will likely be that as originally described by whoever 'discovered' the plants. Often, another person later found the same plant and gave it a different name, that's where synonyms come in. A lot of study more recently has reverted some names to the original as that takes priority.

To find photographs it's easy enough to highlight the name then with a right click select "search with google" if you have it enabled, it saves a lot of work, I had to enable it on my present computer as it only had Bing search enabled.

The shame of man, taking plants to extinction!

I right click and search only but to right click you need data as to the original person, fine but what about those dried specimens which on top are also moth eaten.
I tip my hat to you. Now seventeen.

Arif.
