They've come all the way up the ladder and are longing for more rungs!

What to do?

--Trim/shear to power more growth down below?
--Handle with care and hand-weave back into the trellis?

Thanks in advance!

To my eyes... Looks like confederate jasmine and apios?
Trumpet creeper?

Re the confederate jasmine.... It's so aggressive here... shearing it works as well as anything.

It's actually two varieties: Star or Confederate jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides), and another more true and more fragrant jasmine (Pink?I don't know the sci name)...

Just shear them off at the top and along the sides. Don't let stems fall down in the front or you'll end up with a really thick mass sticking out from the wall.
And yes, Pink Jasmine, Jasminum polyanthum.
