Would you cut it apart and plant each node with roots? Whole plant is just one Long vine.

If you wanted to get fancy you could pot them up but leave them attached to the vine for a while, like spider plants.

Lots of fun, and I have better success with that method anyway.

Ah, hm, we will see. I kind of don't want to be messing with several individual little pots though. Don t know how much I can bend and curl the stem to get them together more than one per pot. The idea and look of cutting the leafs apart and potting them up together , hoping for a full pot, appeals.
Plant it and they will come.

Cut 'em up!
I just like using the stem when it's feasible, otherwise I hack.

Yes it will be better to cut them into individuals. Just make sure it has the node intact above, it will make it a lot faster and more certain each piece will carry on going forward. I never take single leaf single node cuttings, for me its a minimum of 2 leaves and 2 nodes

Length of stem with four end nodes, curled into pot in one piece. Looks funny to begin but of each node sends out a stem I will later separate them and rearrange.

I don;t think the individual nodes will send out new growth when the plant is all one piece. I have had that happen with very old Monstera deliciosa, but not with philodendrons. It will only grow from the apical meristem (the top cut). When you cut a plant's stem, or prune a plant, either a hard pruning or tip pruning, the plant produces a hormone that tells it to grow. If there is no reason to branch, it won;t. AT least that is my experience

The odd shapd pot has the heartleaf. Then to the left, cutting of pink Aglaonema , but you only really see a yellowing old leaf. To right, cutting of Raphidophora.
Plant it and they will come.

Wow!

Didn't know they got that big.

I have 5, one mother and 4 cuttings, but all still well under 9".
