This is the oldest Japanese maple tree on our property at over 50 years of age. In this video I show how I have pruned the tree over the past 37 years since we removed it from the container and then planted into the garden

Good to watch your video Otto, most encouraging.
My Garden is so small I have to prune everything!!!!! just to keep it looking like a garden with form, and space.
With any Luck it may become a bonsai garden of sorts, main thing is I get so much satisfaction from it all.
John.
Keep safe.

The nice thing is, the results are always more then worth the effort to keep pruning and shaping your trees!
Sounds like a very enjoyable garden space for you
