Hello!
I have 2 dracaena marginatas which live inside and I have added pictures! The slimmer and taller one was my dad's and is over 20 years old. Around 8 months ago I repotted and made a cutting and propogated it, which is very healthy and still thriving now and has grown roots. However, where I made the cutting from the original plant, no growth has grown back and the stem is shrivelled and dry, and the second stem/cane is also shrivelled slightly but the growth above is healthy. I am very worried about this plant as it was my dad's, who is no longer with us, and I really would like to save it but am scared to make further cuttings in case they do not root.
I also bought a second dracaena marginata over a year ago from a supermarket. This one wasn't doing great so I repotted it 2 months ago and made 7 cuttings, cutting away all the growth and stems and propogating them, of which only 1 has survived for 2 months now but I am not sure if it has grown roots. I disturbed the others by looking and they died shorty after so I am leaving that one alone for now! However, after I made cuttings from my second draceana, new growth appeared very quickly and it looked very healthy. But I have just noticed that the stems are wrinkled and the new growth on one of the stems is small and seems to be dying, however the growth on the other individual stems looks great - but I have noticed that all of the stems are shrivelled.
Please can you help me save these plants!
Thank you ❤️
