I got that one from them last fall as well because of that email! It's one of the many that LG helped me plant during her visit. Hoping to see good growth from all of those this year and hopefully a few blooms!

Now that's what I call a super gardener friendship I tip my hat to you. .
Did LG bring the hole digger auger?

Oh for sure I brought the power planter and also my garden kneeler. Liz is such an amazing worker! That garden is going to be a showplace. Everything is being done correctly from the beginning. Her garden cottage is awesome too. I think she is going to have a great Spring this year and can't wait to see photos.

Thanks LG! Loved having you there!
The power auger with the drill LG has is a good 10 pounds or more lighter than the power auger we have. Really liked it! If we didn't already have the heavier option I'd have ordered one for myself but I'll keep using ours until it dies, can afford more peonies if I don't replace it early…priorities, right?
I'm headed to AL end of month. Next goal is to extend the retaining walls on the side that will require manual digging. Not sure how much I'll get done but I'll post my progress here in the forum. Between 11 days in March and around 15 days in April I hope to get another 6-8 sections in on the top 2 rows so I can work on a stone patio on that side of the cottage next. I'll probably revive the old thread I had going here to share pics as well.

Only 10 days left in this month, so you will be down there before long, Liz!

Alex, Alhambra has always been a great yellow for me. Multiple blooms with great presentation and a hardy plant especially in my zone.
