Thanks for letting us know this tip. I'm going to plant my Salvia regla 'Royal' in a large container and I'll have to remember your tip! Hopefully it doesn't drown and die on me.

My plant is starting to reach for the sky, with really nice foliage that has a pleasant odor when handled.
