I am happy to report that the box arrived this morning. I think what happened was that the box arrived at our local post office last night and so was marked "delivered." Anyway, I am very relieved. I also got a delivery of Louisiana iris, three new cultivars I am excited about. I am going to be busy getting all these planted!

As for the daylilies--Brian Reeder sent me extra fans of everything and two nice bonus plants, so I am thrilled. One of the bonus plants is Misty Mountains Cold, which I almost ordered last year, so I am very pleased that he chose that one for me.

Donna, I chose Irish Envy because growers in my zone have had good luck with it. It was Daylily of the Day several years ago and got excellent reviews from growers in zone 8. I also think the pictures are really pretty. I'm sorry it has been an indifferent plant for you. I'll have to see how it does here.

DeweyRooter, I grow Quilt Patch and just love it. It clumps up and multiplies quickly, has upright foliage and is quite rust resistant. I love its unique brownish color; it looks terrific mixed with other hot colors, especially butterscotch gold daylilies like Cartwheels or Condilla.

I ordered Quilt Patch this Fall and am excited to see it blooming (hopefully) next year. Being a quilter it "called" to me. TCat, thanks for the information; looking forward to it performing well here.

I ordered a box that hasn't come yet, however I was able to go visit a nursery that had already shut down for the year and managed to get around 8-9 named varieties plus 8 free ones.

Monty, you are so lucky to live near such generous nurseries. Though maybe it's lucky for me that I don't!

I received three plants from RobinSeeds: Carlotta, Big Snowbird, and a seedling with Happy Returns as a parent. I have decided to call it "Robin Returns."

Expecting a few more and that will wind up my fall acquisitions.

Received my last new fall daylilies today. From Ladybug Daylilies I received Embracing Diversity, Sheila Beila, and Kara Louise. And I got the plants I traded with @Hazelcrestmikeb for: Genesta, Stella's Sparky, and Raspberry Ripple Cupcake. I'm very excited about these!

Received my order from @Robinseeds today along with a couple of trade seedling CLUMPS!: Work With Me Annie, Marked By Lydia, Bella Stella with Aunt Wimp as a bonus. Only 2 USPS transit days, arrived 2 days early.
