So easy to root!
Break off a nice branch, put it in a wide-mouthed vase or jar full of water, and change the water out every few days. It roots quickly, and is pretty enough to be on the kitchen table.
In fall before the killing frost, I sometimes make coleus vases for the bathroom counter. Because they root and live, they last much longer than a cut flower.
If you strictly want a potted plant, stick a clipping in moist soil in a bright area, out of direct sun until rooted.
