This is what other gardeners just dream about and you have the pleasure of viewing it daily.

My compliments and my respect for the arrangement of the plants. It's picture perfect.

If only.. this is from Bide A Wee cottage garden near Morpeth in Northumberland which I've visited many times. How I wish I could look at this every day, I don't have a garden of my own sadly.
It really is a wonderful plantsman's garden with so many fabulous planting details around every corner.
If you would like to see more of this garden I have a photo album here https://www.flickr.com/photos/...

What an incredible collection of beautiful photos of this wonderful garden, Sue.
Thanks so much for sharing it with us.
I was looking up Solomon's Seal (Polygonatum biflorum), to see if I had an entry yet and saw I only had a Plant combination and then clicked on yours and saw the thread by @pirl, and was drawn to your photo album. I have tried to drag it down to here, with no success, but I wish I could bring it to everyone's attention. Such magnificent shots in the Bide A Wee cottage garden near Morpeth in Northumberland - 88 photos with many of the plants named. Outstanding!
Next, I want to view your photos from Howick Hall Gardens - 356 in all - what a treat that will be. Just this week I saw an Antiques Roadshow on T.V. that took place there.
I sure love this marvellous website that we have, where we can share such special entries, from such gifted people. Thank you also @dave Thumbs up

Thanks so much for your kind words Nora, much appreciated.

Indeed with no longer having a garden of my own my photos from my garden visits are very precious to me.

Hope you enjoy my Flickr albums.

OMG @kniphofia you take fabulous pictures! Such splendor. When I opened your photo album in Flickr it just took my breath away. Those gardens -- it makes me want to move to the UK.
I watch a program on television, Escape To The Country. People on this program are shown three houses/properties to select one which interests them. What just about everyone looks for is a garden. The properties almost all already have beautiful gardens. It amazes me how the Brits love gardening.
Now, I have to go back to your photo album. So far I have seen only a small fraction of your photos as my computer is slow to load pictures but once loaded it is worth the wait.

Thank you all so much! I'm really thrilled that you're enjoying these British gardens.

Sadly @Tigerpaws these days it's more wealthy people who have gardens, most new built houses these days have a postage stamp sized garden which a lot of people get rid of as they need space to park their cars.. And that is why I enjoy visiting the large country estates as you get to see gardening on a grand scale. But a lot of gardening TV programmes here try to give suggestions for gardening with a small space.

That was always something that surprised me when I lived in Maine, was how much space most people had around their properties.
