This was a fun project for my fall plantings. I took one pallet and broke it down and cut it into pieces, and assembled them into a raised bed planter for my annuals. The dimensions of the actual planter are 28" long by 11" high by approximately 20" deep. With the table underneath, it gives it a total height of approximately 32". Not too low so you have to bend down too far over. How much did this cost me to make? Almost nothing. The palette was free. I found the wood for the table on the side of the road last summer. I did pay for the nails and the screws, a small bag of potting soil and big bag of top soil, and the skinned knuckles, and a big bruise on my shin where I missed with the hammer once! Ouch! That hurt as bad as the knuckles!😀 But all in all it was a fun project. It took me about 4-5 hours total. The hardest part was breaking the pallet down.
