Two days ago I had moved my jalapeno plant inside due to winter. Today I had woken up to my jalapeno dropping 6 of its smaller leaves, all of the fallen leaves were healthy. it does not get as much light as it did when it was outside but it still gets a consistent amount of light.

could it be dropping its leaves just because it is not getting as much light as outside? should I worry? Is there anything I can do?
I always wish to know more

My pepper plants always drop leaves when I bring them inside.

The lack of light is part of the problem, but also consider the temperature difference, and the change in humidity.

Water sparingly... keep cool, and try to place in a south-facing window.

At my house, they may not get watered but once a month.

They go mostly dormant until they start getting better light... usually in February.
Edit:
By keep cool... I keep mine in an unheated room... but above freezing...
