As everyone knows the weather across the USA is the strangest ever and we haven't been spared, with the temps in the 40s and the the wind blowing like a tropical storm. I think we set record lows yesterday and this morning. I should have did my second spraying for spider mites Thursday but due to rain and wind I hope I can do it this afternoon.

I also like that last seedling Pam.
This was the two year olds last Wed.

LONDON TOWER is definitely a dip, and I remember going through this last year when I purchased one through the Lily Auction Store from Abundantdaylilies and saw that it was registered as a tet but the hybridizer listed it as a dip. And Michele confirmed for me that it's a dip through this thread:

Oh my, I really LOVE that seedling. I hope I get some like that out of mine!!!!! I would have never thought that you would get that color from that cross, but you never know. I haven't looked up the parents of those to see what they look like.

It is DEFINITELY a DIP. It is listed wrong in the AHS database as is a few others of Frank Smith's dips are listed a tets on there. I may have to actually buy London Tower to use; I took the pollen from one of James Hall's sale plants last year before it got shipped out and I'm glad I did. I think I still have some of the pollen in the freezer.

AHH. Only thing I checked was the AHS website. Im glad that hit me, I would have never known LT was a dip, and I got it this year and would have been putting it on tets...and not being very happy at the results ;-)

Just brought it in to see how it faired. I wish the picture could capture this things electric green throat and eye. Its really something. If nothing else, Im keeping it for sure, just for the throat an eye. I think it still looks pretty good tonight.

Even if the branching and such doesn't do well you could use it as a bridge plant on something that does have good branching, etc

Oh and I can see the electric green going on.

Pam, I really like your seedling! Those two colors together are perfect. And, that huge bright green throat is just the BEST! I hope you will keep it and use it as Tink said in case the branching and budcount are not good.
