Karen, maybe we need to start a thread to post some photos from the past to get us through these dreary days …….

I remember Greenland from your post a while ago and had it under my radars ever since. It's so dreaming and I second on the notion that it's beautiful like pastelegance. Lovey dubby I hope whatever I get is close to that or I'll have to get a second one from Solaris. Hilarious!

I also have Greenland and it is very beautiful. The stems are strong and it holds its blooms up well.

Here is my bloom from April 11 of 2020

My Pastelegance is not that full as it should be, I guess our cool summers do not allow the flower development of hybrids. I will see how Greenland will grow, people say it is a slow grower, I need a lot of patience.

Gary, do you have the pic of the plant foliage? I think Greenland leaves are different from lactifloras, they are more broad and shiny...

I don't see where Gary wrote that his Greenland was not an early bloomer. Sorry if I missed something.

I don't have a pic of the foilage but that sounds correct. All of my blooms are done by mid May.

LG, yes I agree! It would be really nice to see pics of peonies and other flowers or landscapes after the hustle and bustle of the Holiday Season. This has been the craziest and saddest of years. My sister had attended more than 20 funerals this year! I did not attend these acquaintances' and friends' funerals, but I knew them. I am thankful to be alive and still be able to enjoy my garden, this Forum and this gardening website.

If you have time, please do it, Alex! Would love to see and experience vicariously through your lens the many beautiful gardens that you saw.
