It is with heavy grief and sadness that I have to share the news of the passing of Nancy ( @nap ).

She was here on Day 1 of the launch of All Things Plants (which later became Garden.org), and she became a cornerstone of our sister website Cubits.org where she remained active until she passed away. She loved the online community that she was an integral part of and she had many friends and admirers. She will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

I am so very sorry to see that Nancy has passed - she is another member who has just always been there on the gardening forums, going back to when I first joined Dave's Garden so long ago. Rest in peace, Nancy - I feel sure that you and Sharon are together and doing a lot of catching up with one another.

I am so, so very sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. I remember her from Cubits.org days and especially the "Who's Who Spotlight" interviews that she and Sharon Brown created, giving us a peek into the lives of our fellow members.

Nancy will be remembered with great fondness and my sincerest condolences go out to her family and friends.

It's difficult to take in that Nancy has passed away. Her puzzle page was very enjoyable, and heck - SHE was enjoyable. She was an encouraging person, always. She will be missed

I'm so sorry to hear that Nancy has passed away. She was always such an active and entertaining member of the gardening sites many of us frequented. Her skills as a photographer and a helpful associate were always apparent in the DG and ATP forums, but Cubits is where she shone brightest. When so many others left Cubits, she became one of the site's cornerstones, publishing weekly puzzles and articles. Her achievements as a communicator, an artist, and a tireless sponsor of Buffalo's Karen refugees from Thailand are an impressive and inspiring legacy.

I will miss Nancy. She had the heart of angel and was kind to everyone. I'm so sorry for the puzzle folks as they really looked forward to doing them. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I am so very saddened over the passing of Nancy, whom I've considered a friend over the years on Cubits and here in the garden site. My heartfelt sympathy to her sons and extended Karen Family that she advocated for and loved so dearly. She once told me they were her purpose for living.

Back in March of this year, Nancy told me that she was diagnosed with cancer but the doctors gave her five to ten years or more. Her time was up too soon.

I just found out that Nancy is no longer with us.
