Thank you Laurie for taking time to comment! Yes this is a lovely part of the garden. RHS Harlow Carr in Harrogate Yorkshire has a stream running through the entire garden so there are several bridges. This one was contructed in 2018 to replace an old bridge. It was designed and built by local stonemen and represents a flower with radiating petals. It's called the Friendship bridge as it was funded by the Friends of Harlow Carr (a group of which I'm a member). The large stone was repositioned and is a remembrance of a much admired former custodian of the garden and TV presenter Geoffrey Smith. Here's another photo of it earlier in the season before all the streamside planting gets going. There are fabulous Harlow Car candelabra primulas nearby.
