Thank you so much Scarlet, that gives me a great idea on when as we r in the same zone. Thanks for the pictures as well. It's nice to see a guide on size like that!
I hope to order Kristine Albretch's book this winter to read and study up a bit more on.

Glad to help you out. I dome mine to sprout. I don't do what KA does w germinating on a plate. No good at my house. What I do is plant half the seed in and leave the other half exposed, I plant in my lil6ers and put them in the tray with the dome partially open, on a heat mat under the lights. As I said I usually start seeing spouts anywhere from 4-14 days give or take. Take your plumptiest seeds first. In the end then I will sprout whatever I have left if I have limited room in my trays. I have 2 heat mats and I don't have room for more. Since we are still in extreme heating season the dome helps keep things moist enough as my grows are in the basement. Cooler of course, but still forced heating.

Can we just jump to Feb?

I would love to! It's probably good I can't though otherwise I wouldn't make myself clean up and organize spots in my house that turn into a dump it here I'll deal with it later station all summer long.
