No, reseeds with the tails. However I have it planted in a cluster by itself with no other Columbines directly near it. I figure it would cross if I had another variety right next to it.

This is just tip of the iceberg. My daylily beds and the back yard look like a tropical jungle!

Here is shrub that is guaranteed to attrack backyard songbirds. The Mockingbird here tries to guard my hedgerow of them each year for himself but isn't very successfull. Besides the Grackles, Robins, Catbirds and Mockingbirds last year Waxwings came each day when the fruit was ripe until it was all gone. It is called Goumi. I bought mine at Raintree Nursery. This fruit is ment for people but it is so tart that mostly it is made into jelly. No matter, the birds go nuts for this fruit. Fruit pictured is not ripe yet but soon.

My Crimson clover is about ready to start to bloom.

My Hairy Vetch is blooming with its pretty purple flowers. They are small though.

Crimson clover and hairy vetch are common green manure cover crops but mine is just growing because I think it is pretty and like the flowers.

I hope you don't have crown vetch. Nasty stuff. The stuff I have is an annual and not aggressive at all.

I will have to check that out, this is about the 3rd year that it has shown up, I tried digging it out but it is in with the plants, I am going to try Round-up when I know it isn't going to rain for a few days.

A lot of lilies blooming here right now.

First some common orange asiatic lilies that are in the southside rose garden.

I have a lot of lilies that I had no ID for. Don't really mind as the lilies are here just to add garden color and look pretty.
