Looks like the same fly that I photographed several times on different plants this summer.

Although now that I look more closely, I see alternating black ridges between the green on the back end.
Still wondering who it is.
They are in the group of flies in the genus Condylostylus. According to Wikipedia there are about 250 species. That means lots of variety.π
I'm getting really interested in photographing insects because there are so many of them and you'll never run out of subjects.
