I've grown this little blue sedum for a few years now, but never known it's name. It growing next to Angelina in this photo and seems to be marginally hardy in zone 5b . This one made it through the winter but often it doesn't but reseeds easily. The flowers are white.Thumb of 2013-05-07/stilldew/e129a8

I think Sedum pallidum var. bithynicum is exact right. It says hardy to zone 6 which explains why it doesn't always make it through my winters and also that it has almost no roots which explains why it grows so well on my path which is just pea gravel over landscape cloth. Thanks for finding the answer for me. It is one of my favorite sedums.

Look forward to seeing the updated photos.
I have trouble identifying some of the sedum, Celene's suggestions are very good.

Stilldew, I haven't seen that sedum in person yet, but I've seen several photos of it! It is a pretty one! Hurray! I tip my hat to you.

My little sedum is starting to bloom and the flowers do match S. pallidum var. bithynicum. Thanks for helping me with the ID.
