Owh... those are beauty.
There is something immensely special of self made, self harvested, blooms on vase. It bring indescribable joy, as if the blooms are talking every-time we look at them.
So very pretty! When the azaleas, camellias and gardenias are blooming I always bring bunches inside to enjoy...my form of pruning them. ๐คจ right..wrong..or indifferent works for me

Mom always liked bud vases and simple or single flowers.
Today I found a gladiolus laying down, and cut it for a vase rather than try and prop it up. nice.
It helps having 5 beds of Zinnia/Old Maids to be able to cut from. That way all the harder to grow or more expensive blooms in your gardens dont have to take such a hit.

It's not tall for cutting but is a really pretty yellow.
